Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Leyland, Lancashire
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (potential for permanent)

Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in the Leyland area to appoint a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join a well-supported Maths department where high standards of teaching and learning are at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspire a love of mathematics, and support students in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and curriculum development.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations.
Participate fully in the life of the school, including staff meetings and CPD opportunities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching maths at KS3 and KS4.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A genuine passion for mathematics and student achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
