I am looking for a Children Residential Support Worker to work in Leyland. This is a full time permanent role and comes with a great salary, benefits, bonus and amazing development opportunities.

You will be working for an amazing organisation who really value and support their staff. They have ambitious expansion plans so the opportunities for future development are available and they will fund and support you to study for Level 3/5. This is a rolling rota with a mixture of day and night shifts.

You will be supporting an experienced team, providing care and support to young people. The children have needs including emotional and challenging behaviours and so you will need to be resilient, patient and friendly. You will be able to set and stick to boundaries and help the social development of the young people. This is a challenging but extremely rewarding role and you will be making a huge difference to the young people you support.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent or working towards completion or willingness to complete.
  • A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
  • Be caring, compassionate, understanding and show patience.
  • Experience of caring and supporting children and young people.
  • Be a team player, flexible, honest and reliable.
  • A driving licence would be beneficial.
