These individuals often have a history of trauma, mental health difficulties, or substance misuse. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving positive outcomes and empowering young people to move forward with independence and resilience.Key Deliverables
  • Manage the daily operations of the Youth Persons Service, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and support.
  • Provide clear leadership, supervision, and guidance to frontline staff.
  • Oversee risk management, safeguarding protocols, and casework quality.
  • Work in partnership with external agencies including mental health services, substance misuse teams, housing, and education providers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate case recording in line with compliance standards.
  • Monitor service performance and drive improvements based on outcomes and data.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives.
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Represent the service at external meetings, forums, and strategic planning sessions.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management or leadership role within youth services, supported housing, or similar settings.
