Job Title: HGV Fabricator / Welder
Location: Leyland Area
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract Type: Long-term temporary role with potential for permanent placement
Company Overview:
Join a well-established truck building company specialising in the manufacture and assembly of refuge vehicles. Based in the Leyland area, this company is known for its high-quality craftsmanship and long-standing reputation in the HGV sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and welding of HGV components and truck bodies
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Using MIG welding techniques (and other methods as required)
- Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborating with the production team to meet build schedules
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HGV fabrication and welding
- Strong MIG welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
