The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Quality Engineer?
- Promote a positive culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility across projects
- Liaise with clients and suppliers on quality assurance matters
- Investigate internal and external quality issues, driving timely resolution
- Conduct internal audits and supplier audits; support customer and third-party certification audits
- Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and manage PPAPs for key projects
- Facilitate structured 8D problem-solving with root cause analysis tools
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of the business management system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpreting engineering drawings and engaging suppliers effectively
- Provide assurance and insight to senior leadership during a period of rapid growth
What are we looking for in our next Quality Engineer?
- Degree in Engineering or relevant Quality discipline
- Certified Lead Auditor to ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are a bonus)
- Experience with APQP and PPAP is highly desirable
- Strong background in manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure
