Customer Service Apprentice

Were looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Apprentice to join our busy aftersales HGV Workshop team based in Fradley.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience whilst developing core skills in customer service, administration and workshop coordination all within a supportive environment.

What you will be doing:
Monday Friday 08:30 17:00 (based onsite)
Practical Experience
Customer Service & Front of House
-Greet and assist customers professionally, both in person and over the telephone.
-Handle customer enquires, bookings and service updates.
Job card & Booking management
-Support with the job card coordination for vehicles entering the workshop
-Coordinate bookings with technicians to support the Workshop Controller
-Keep customers and internal teams (Rental/Parts/Sales and Finance) informed about progress, costs and completion times.
Workshop Support and Communication
-Liaise between workshop team members and customers to relay accurate updates
-Support workshop administration, including parts orders and records.
-Assist in tracking repairs, inspections and service completions.
Documentation and System use:
-Input and update customer and vehicle information into internal and manufacturer systems
-Maintain accurate service records and process necessary paperwork
-Follow GDPR and company data handling procedures.
Customer satisfaction and Feedback
-Follow up with customers post service to ensure satisfaction
-Handle complaints or concerns professionally and escalate as and when required.
Training and development:
-Attending training online and face to face with our Apprenticeship provider.
-Completing coursework and a portfolio of evidence as part of the apprenticeship program.
-You will work towards a level 3 qualification
-Health and Safety - ensuring best practices when working within our workshop environment.
