Internal Sales Executive | Lichfield | Full Time (flexible hours and part-time working possible) | £24,000 to £28,000 plus bonus, dependent on experience

Formed in 2019, our client is an ambitious and rapidly expanding company within the B2B environment. They are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join their team.

The Internal Sales Executive will be expected to help facilitate the smooth running of the company's B2B sales and marketing efforts. In particular, this means providing appropriate hands-on support for the sales team at the instruction of the Head of Business Development.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Previous experience in a busy internal sales environment
  • Telesales experience would be advantageous
  • Good communication skills, including telephone manner
  • Self-driven with a natural enthusiasm to support others so that things run smoothly and effectively
  • Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious to learn and develop as the company grows
  • Ability to work in a busy workplace environment
  • Flexible attitude
  • Numerate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Well organised
  • IT skills (Office, Excel, Word, etc)
  • Full driving licence

What will your role look like?

  • Contact of new and existing customers to increase sales, expand product/brand awareness, and strengthen client relationships
  • Management and follow up on sales enquiries to convert quotes into orders
  • Respond to customer enquiries, build strong relationships, and convert leads into sales
  • Engage with target customers to understand their needs and generate new business
  • Coordination and initiation of customer or prospect mail shots (typically bespoke per customer) and subsequent telephone follow-up in order to secure meetings, phone conversations, or raise awareness
  • Maintenance of the sales team's database to indicate current and past sales activity and aid prioritisation of future sales efforts
  • Population of the company's CRM system to reflect meetings held, information provided, matters discussed, people met, etc
  • Conducting ad hoc sales and marketing research
  • Front of house support for visitors
