Our client is a leading shopfitting contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative, and efficient fit-out solutions for retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors. Their team is committed to exceeding client expectations through meticulous planning, expert craftsmanship, and seamless project execution.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and project management, with a particular focus on shopfitting/fitout projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Project Manager - Fitout

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client specifications, conducting regular site inspections and quality checks.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of the project.
  • Identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.

Project Manager - Fitout

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the shopfitting/fitout industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
