33 days holiday per annum, rising to 38 after 5 years service

What you will be doing:

  • Surveying buildings at risk from flooding to recommend Property Flood Resilience measures.
  • Assessing flood risk from any source using existing data.
  • Walking our rivers and coast to inspect flood risk assets.
  • Conducting appropriate surveys and tests (e.g., photographic surveys, topographic surveys).
  • Writing reports with appropriate conclusions and recommendations using plain English.

What you will need:

  • The ability and willingness to travel and work anywhere the UK.
  • Have good personal drive to succeed with a willingness to learn.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have strong organisational skills.
  • Have a desire to help and be empathetic to individuals and communities affected by flooding.
  • Be competent in the use of relevant IT software.
