The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering team. You’ll be involved in the full design lifecycle — from concept through to production — developing electrical systems and integrating components for complex, high-value industrial products used worldwide.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across mechanical, systems, and software disciplines to create cutting-edge, compliant designs that meet demanding customer specifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate customer and project requirements into electrical definitions and detailed specifications.
Produce wiring diagrams and schematics using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Electrical.
Select components and materials, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and cost considerations.
Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of all subsystems.
Support and guide suppliers and manufacturing partners through the build and testing processes.
Produce electrical design documentation, layout drawings, calculations, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Participate in prototype development, testing, and problem-solving during the design and manufacturing phases.
Stay current with relevant standards, materials, and modern manufacturing techniques.
Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Degree preferred but not essential).
Strong background in electrical design and schematic creation.
Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical; familiarity with 3D design tools advantageous.
Experience with control panel design, electrical wiring, and industrial system layouts desirable.
Able to work across multiple projects, balancing priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Confident communicator and collaborative team player with solid problem-solving skills.
Familiar with BOM management and comfortable reading mechanical drawings.
Competent with Microsoft Office tools.
