Reach Forklift Driver

Alliance Personnel are seeking a skilled Reach Forklift Operator (D2)to join one of our clients based in Lichfield, Fradley Park.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload goods within our warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a commitment to maintaining safety standards while handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload products from lorries, ensuring safe handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using the warehouse management system.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Skills

• Proficient in operating forklifts with a valid forklift licence.
• Strong knowledge of materials handling and warehouse operations.
• Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Working hours Monday to Friday 6am - 2:30pm / 2pm - 10:30pm (rotating)
