Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Elec bias) – £51,000 – Litchfield - Continental shift (4 on 5 off – 5 on 4 off)

Package: 3% company, x3 Life Assurance - three times your basic salary paid to your nominated beneficiary, 23 days annual leave per annum.

This site is one of three UK food manufacturing facilities specialising in the processing and distribution of pre-packed, ready-to-eat food products of everyday use. They’re a business who turnover an impressive 7.1 billion euros and they now have a workforce of 22k people operating across 11 countries.

Due to continued growth and ongoing investment across the site, the business is now looking to recruit Maintenance Engineers to strengthen its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-established operation that offers long-term career prospects within a large company.

About the role

As a maintenance engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Site wide planned preventive maintenance
• Upkeep of Production Equipment and Machinery.
• Reacting to breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime.
• Equipment repair, technical repairing, in addition to factory start up and testing.

About you

To be considered for this maintenance engineer position you should be/have the following:

• Currently working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, ideally from a manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding ability, able to work in efficient and safe manner.
• Recognised level 3 engineering qualifications or equivalent.
