Role: Employment Solicitor

We, at Simpson Judge are currently working with a reputable law firm who looking for a dynamic solicitor to join their highly acclaimed Employment Team in Lichfield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert guidance to employers and employees on various employment matters.
- Oversee Employment Tribunal claims.
- Manage TUPE issues, redundancy situations, and transfers of undertakings.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements for both parties.
- Provide advice on restrictive covenants, breaches of confidentiality, and other workplace disputes.
- Draft and review employment contracts and employee handbooks.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case management.
- Prepare court documents, correspondence, and other legal paperwork.
- Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel and involved parties.
- Collaborate with Partners and peers to develop strategies that align with client objectives.
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the firm.
Requirements:
- up to 1 years PQE in Employment Law.
- Demonstrated experience in managing employment tribunal claims and complex legal matters.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management abilities.
- Capacity to cooperate effectively within a supportive team environment.
- A proactive mindset towards business development and marketing efforts.
