As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a skilled Estimator with a strong background in cladding manufacture or installation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and dynamic team based in Tamworth.
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in driving business success by preparing accurate, competitive, and commercially sound estimates for faade and cladding projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for cladding and faade systems.
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and labour.
Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure costings reflect delivery requirements.
Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as required.
Submit tenders in line with client deadlines and company targets.
Provide value engineering and commercial advice to maximise project viability.
Stay current with materials, market rates, and industry trends.
Requirements
Experience in cladding manufacture or installation is essential.
Strong understanding of cladding systems, materials, and installation methodologies.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
A qualification in construction, engineering, or quantity surveying is desirable.
