Job Description:

Are you an experienced Lettings Negotiator ready to take the next step in your career?

We’re working with a highly successful, multi-branch estate agency in Lichfield seeking a Senior Lettings Negotiator to play a key role in driving lettings performance, mentoring junior staff, and delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants alike.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with lettings experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and step into a leadership-focused role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property viewings and off-site appointments with professionalism and confidence.
  • Register and qualify applicants, manage enquiries, and maintain accurate mailing lists.
  • Manage the full tenancy process including application progression and referencing.
  • Arrange and confirm property viewings, market appraisals, and check-in appointments.
  • Act as a point of contact between landlords, tenants, and internal departments.
  • Promote and upsell services such as insurance to both tenants and landlords.
  • Contribute to training and supporting junior team members.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance and revenue targets.

KPIs:

  • Applicants registered.
  • Viewings booked and attended.
  • Completed applications.
  • Valuation appointments booked.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strong lettings background with at least 1 year of proven success
  • Excellent telephone manner and confident face-to-face communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong knowledge of the local rental market
  • A team player with leadership potential and a collaborative mindset
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales and service

Extra details:

  • 09:00 – 5.30pm – Monday to Friday
  • Saturday Rota 1:4 (paid)
  • 22 days plus 8 Bank Holidays (rising to 27 after qualifying period)
