About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Temporary Account Executive to support the Business Development team in delivering key sales and customer service goals. This role is focused on both retaining and growing client accounts across several core sectors, including logistics, construction, automotive, retail, and waste management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with assigned customer accounts (top 3160 accounts).
  • Support team revenue and KPI targets through account retention and conversion of existing TAG accounts to ANPR.
  • Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategies to attract and secure new clients.
  • Provide administrative support including call and email handling, meeting coordination, and preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Maintain customer records, account plans, and CRM databases with high accuracy.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, events, and exhibitions to generate leads and build relationships.
  • Maximise the value of every customer interaction through effective communication and tailored proposals.
  • Build a strong internal and external network to support business growth.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of key market segments including commercial fleets (vans/HGVs) and business travel customers.
  • Use customer insights to inform strategy and continuously improve processes.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer service
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Positive, resilient, and proactive attitude
  • Comfortable engaging with clients via phone, virtual meetings, or face-to-face
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a business development or sales-focused role
