Are you a proactive, technically minded professional with a knack for turning supply chain challenges into successes? We're looking for a Supply Chain Expediter to take charge of a critical supplier relationship involving motor assemblies. This is a 12-month contract opportunity where your assertiveness, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will help ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.

The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Supply Chain Expeditor?
- Act as the on-site liaison between our business and the supplier.
- Drive on-time delivery performance by monitoring and managing daily production and supply issues.
- Investigate and resolve delays, material shortages, and quality issues.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Project teams to align priorities.
- Escalate risks early and follow up on agreed actions to ensure accountability.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement at the supplier site.
- Keep stakeholders updated with clear, structured reporting on supplier performance.
What are we looking for in our next Supply Chain Expeditor?
- Proven experience in supply chain, production control, or supplier management roles.
- Assertive and confident communicator, able to manage a challenging supplier relationship effectively.
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes - experience with motor assemblies is a bonus.
- Able to stay calm under pressure and think on your feet.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and consistently.
- Full UK driving licence - travel to supplier site required.
