We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals who are looking to take their career to the next level in a heavy engineering environment. The position on offer is a full-time, permanent role, with plenty of progression and opportunities available within a thriving company. Successful candidates will be trained on a day shift rota, before transitioning to a rotating shift pattern.
Main duties will include:
- Input and modify programmes on computer controls and manage machinery on a line.
- Undertake various duties including fettling, painting, and shotblasting.
- Ensure customer specifications are met by checking dimensions against process sheets or sketches.
- Clean work areas and maintain equipment as required.
- Adhere to all safety and quality processes and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
Previous experience in an engineering environment is essential, and FLT licences will be beneficial; as would any experience/certification of heavy machinery operation.
The role is commutable from Newark, Lincoln, Sleaford, Horncastle, Market Rasen and Gainsborough.
