Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a construction engineering company, in a contract role, outside IR35. As the successful candidate you will be able to work in a fully remote position, meaning it is ideal to have your own hardware. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of residential projects, with a motivating team.

-Hourly ranging from £35-£40 (depending on experience).

-Fully remote working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop civil engineering designs across infrastructure, highways, drainage, and public realm projects.

-Support project delivery from feasibility through to detailed design and construction stages.

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.

-Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to guide and validate design work.

-Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation aligned with regulations and client needs.

-Ensure all work meets health & safety standards, sustainability objectives, and industry best practices.

What we are looking for:

-Must have extensive experience with Causeway Flow and Civil3D.

-Prior experience working on drainage, Roads (S278,38,106), Earthworks, and Cut and fill.

-Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.

-Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards (ICE preferred).

-Solid understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.

-Strong communicator with problem-solving and teamwork skills.
