We’re representing a specialist fire safety contractor with over 25 years’ experience delivering passive fire protection across housing, healthcare, and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, the business is now seeking a Site Manager with experience in fire stopping to oversee projects and ensure safe, efficient delivery on site.

The Role

As Site Manager, you’ll be the driving force on projects — making sure works are delivered on time, to the highest standards, and always with safety as the top priority. Your responsibilities will include:

Health & Safety

  • Implement HSEQ standards and company systems across all sites.

  • Ensure PPE compliance and maintain safe working environments.

  • Oversee site signage, welfare, and tenant/public safety.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead project briefings and plan works from drawings/specifications.

  • Manage materials, stock, and labour requirements.

  • Produce short-term schedules and weekly progress reports.

  • Maintain quality, compliance, and key performance reporting.

Team & Subcontractor Management

  • Organise workflows and delegate tasks clearly.

  • Coach, monitor, and support staff and subcontractors.

  • Ensure adherence to company procedures, deadlines, and performance standards.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the company’s representative on site, ensuring professionalism and customer service excellence.

  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and community initiatives.

  • Support the wider business in promoting quality, responsiveness, and customer care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven site management experience, ideally within fire stopping or passive fire protection.

  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ compliance.

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

  • A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to deliver results.
