Your new companyA local house building contractor is on the lookout for 2 new groundworkers to join their team on a permanent basis. Company builds around 25-30 houses per year Will include all aspects of groundworks on 4/5 bedroom detached properties. Mainly focusing on hands on work rather than plant driving as they employ full-time FLT drivers already (happy to put any successful applicants through driving tickets if they don't already have them).Groundworkers rates very between £14ph & £18.50ph (£14ph being labourer level and £18.50ph being experienced, fully qualified and having serviced the business for an extended period).Ideally looking for experienced and qualified candidates to come in at the £16ph-£17ph mark.The more tickets and certificates the better but open to all options.ASAP startIdeally process would be to offer candidates a short trial period (anything from 1 day up to around a week) - paid as a temporary worker through Hays while on trial and then taken direct, on the books after the trial period has been completed.
