CNC Machinist
Location: Lincoln
Pay: 16.50 per hour (PAYE) / 22.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Shifts: Rotating - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
Pre-employment: Medical check required

We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a leading precision engineering team in Lincoln. In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture gas turbine components to strict engineering and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components.
Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Prepare, measure, and inspect components to meet quality requirements.
Perform basic machine programming and maintenance as required.
Work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong CNC machining background - apprentice-trained preferred, but not essential.
NVQ or equivalent qualification in CNC machining or a related engineering discipline.
Confident using CNC machine tool controls and applications.
Good IT skills (Word, Excel) and written communication.
Safety-conscious with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
