Search are recruiting for this position on behalf of our client.

We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a leading precision engineering team in Lincoln. In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture gas turbine components to strict engineering and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components.
  • Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare, measure, and inspect components to meet quality requirements.
  • Perform basic machine programming and maintenance as required.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong CNC machining background - apprentice-trained preferred, but not essential.
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification in CNC machining or a related engineering discipline.
  • Confident using CNC machine tool controls and applications.
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel) and written communication.
  • Safety-conscious with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
