Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting a Project Manager working on behalf of a leading Energy services company.

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful execution of real estate and infrastructure projects, particularly those governed by CDM regulations. This role ensures that all project phases—from planning through execution and close-out—adhere to the company’s operational, safety, and compliance standards, while delivering on time, within scope, and on budget. Some of other duties include;

1. Project Execution & Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver CDM-regulated projects, including factory real estate moves and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Develop and implement the Project Execution Concept (PEC), ensuring alignment with cost, time, quality, and compliance targets.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, EHS, Legal) and external contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

2. CDM Compliance & Site Mobilization

  • Define role requirements, scope, and competencies for CDM-related site roles.

  • Ensure all pre-construction information and Section 36 planning requirements are identified and addressed.

3. Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Maintain efficient communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.

  • Facilitate regular feedback sessions and lessons-learned workshops to promote continuous improvement.

4. Risk, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy Business Conduct Guidelines, including export control, tax law, and EHS regulations.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to quality plans and inspection protocols.

5. Resource & Budget Management

  • Define project budgets and monitor financial performance in collaboration with Commercial Project Managers.

  • Support recruitment and onboarding of project-specific roles, including internal and external hires.

Preferred Skills for the role:

  • Proven experience in project management within an industrial or energy sector, ideally with CDM-regulated environments.

  • Strong understanding of UK CDM regulations and site safety protocols.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is a plus.

Desirable Attributes

  • Chartered status or equivalent in engineering, construction, or project management.

  • Experience managing factory infrastructure or real estate projects.

  • Coaching or mentoring experience for junior project managers.
