An established business in North Lincolnshire is seeking a dynamic Credit Controller to join their finance team with a competitive salary offered.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in a Sales Ledger or Credit Control role within a busy environment and possess excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities include chasing overdue debts, ensuring the smooth operation of the Sales Ledger system, and processing cash receipts accurately and timely.
The position offers benefits such as 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, early Friday finishes, and free refreshments.
Candidates are expected to have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Credit Controller Responsibilities:

Chasing overdue debts by phone, email and letter to reduce debtor days
Ensure Sales Ledger system runs smoothly and efficiently
Accurate processing of all cash receipts in a timely manner
Posting payments
Coding, inputting and allocating BAC’s when needed
Setting up new customer accounts on the system including setting credit limits
Answering and resolving outstanding queries
Assist with other areas of finance function when required

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience in a similar in a Sales Ledger/ Credit Control role in a busy environment
A good team player with ability to build and maintain both colleague and client relationships
IT literate including in Excel
Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
