We are delighted to be working with a public facing & focused group, they are looking for an Interim Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the discussions and the team, providing insights, strategy, excellent communication skills and be to handle stakeholder conversations at all levels.This role would lean towards those with Local Government, Housing, Not for Profit organisations, experienced candidates. A fantastic opportunity to join the group, initially on a minimum 4 month contract but perhaps longer, plus the possibility of this becoming a full time senior position.THE ROLE: Lead, Support and drive the current marketing team of 3Continue to develop and deliver on the marketing strategy (in line with the corporate strategy)Assess scope of Marketing requirement and capacity across the organisationProvide advice and expert support to Company employees regarding marketing and communications.Lead on the production of all marketing and communications materials/collateralProduce and manage all PR activity with the media and effectively manage the Company's reputation, including the creation and updating of media messages and position statements to incorporate the Company's stance on local, regional and national issues.Working effectively at a senior level within a forward thinking and fast paced organisationDemonstrating collaborative skills, able to quickly establish effective internal and external working relationships with key people across different services/functionsTHE CANDIDATE:Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a suitable qualification in a Marketing and/or Communications related fieldHold, or be working towards, a professional/postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a Marketing and/or Communications related fieldFull UK driving licencePreferably some knowledge of housing related issuesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Working knowledge of a design software packageKnowledge of a wide range of marketing tools and channelsSubstantial experience working within a marketing and communications environment at a strategic levelHave a proven ability to produce and deliver high quality marketing and communications strategies, plans and campaignsTHE CONSULTANCY:Edwards & Pearce acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
