Inventory ControllerRAF Coningsby£18.21 PAYE OR £24.32 per hour inside IR356 MonthsFull time onsite – 37 hours  BAE Systems are currently seeking a highly motivated Inventory Controller to join the team supporting the maintenance of Typhoon aircraft. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate control and movement of aircraft spares and assets throughout the maintenance lifecycle — from goods inward to delivery against schedule  The Job:
  • Manage and record the movement of aircraft spares and assets across maintenance stages.
  • Ensure accurate data input into manual registers, TMF Logs, IMS systems, and MJDI/Maintenix platforms.
  • Maintain strict physical control of all aircraft parts and spares, including Vertical Storage Units.
  • Ensure full compliance with Mil Pt 145 regulations at all times.
  • Investigate or escalate inventory discrepancies to support continuous maintenance flow.
  • Register all assets received or dispatched through the TMF Logistics Regulator.
  • Perform inventory transfers and system transactions in line with business processes.
 Skills:
  • Experience in inventory or logistics control, ideally in a defence or aviation environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven data entry accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Mil Pt 145 standards and inventory systems (e.g. MJDI, Maintenix).
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
