We are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client practising across Lincolnshire and the Midlands. They offer a full suite of legal and wealth management services, combining traditional values with forward-thinking innovation. An exciting opening has arisen for a confident and proactive Property Development Lawyer to join this prestigious firm’s expanding Commercial Property Department.

You’ll work closely with expert Development Partners and advise a high-profile portfolio of national housebuilders, landowners, and developers.

This is a unique opportunity to specialise in the property development space within a firm that is actively growing its offering in this area.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll handle a diverse and stimulating caseload that includes:

  • Title investigation and due diligence, including complex site setups

  • Drafting and negotiating conditional contracts, option, promotion, and overage agreements

  • Supporting the New Build Team with management schemes and plot sale documentation

  • Disposals of land, affordable housing, and freehold reservations

  • Acting for landowners in land disposals

  • Drafting and negotiating easements, infrastructure agreements, planning agreements, and licences

In addition to your legal work, you’ll contribute to business development and marketing efforts in line with the firm’s strategic growth ambitions.
