Team Leader - Legal Services (Landlord & Tenant Law Focus)Location: Lincoln (with potential hybrid working post-probation)Salary: Competitive + BenefitsOverview:This pivotal role involves leading and motivating a team of legal professionals to ensure they deliver exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing teams within a regulated environment, ideally in a private practice setting. Expertise in Landlord and Tenant Law is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Oversee a team of Legal Support Assistants, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals. Foster motivation, support development, and ensure adherence to HR processes.
  • Operational Support: Work with the Head of Department on regulatory renewals, manage resources such as stock and stationery, and oversee team facilities.
  • Client Relationships: Act as a key contact for the team, manage escalated client complaints, and build strong commercial relationships.
  • Brand & Marketing: Represent the firm at conferences and events, and contribute to business development and brand visibility.
  • Case Management: Ensure high standards in case handling, monitor central diaries, and promote best practices in legal service delivery.
  • Compliance: Support the maintenance of legal and regulatory compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months in a team leadership role (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience in a regulated professional services environment (legal sector ideal).
  • Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Law (advantageous).
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.

Work Environment:This is an office-based role in Lincoln, with standard hours of 09:00 am - 05:30 pm, Monday to Friday. A hybrid working model may be available after a successful probation period.
