Job Title:Team Leader - Legal Services
Location: Lincoln (with potential hybrid working post-probation)
Base Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
Job Overview
An established and reputable legal services provider is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join their team. This pivotal role involves leading and motivating a team of legal professionals to ensure they deliver exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing teams within a regulated environment.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
- Leadership & Management: Oversee a team of Legal Support Assistants, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals. Foster motivation, support development, and ensure adherence to HR processes.
- Operational Support: Work with the Head of Department on regulatory renewals, manage resources such as stock and stationery, and oversee team facilities.
- Client Relationships: Act as a key contact for the team, manage escalated client complaints, and build strong commercial relationships.
- Brand & Marketing: Represent the firm at conferences and events, and contribute to business development and brand visibility.
- Case Management: Ensure high standards in case handling, monitor central diaries, and promote best practices in legal service delivery.
- Compliance: Support the maintenance of legal and regulatory compliance standards.

Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum 12 months in a team leadership role (3+ years preferred).
- Experience in a regulated professional services environment (legal sector ideal).
- Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Law (advantageous).
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Expertise in Landlord and Tenant Law is highly desirable.
