A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading food manufacturing business that is currently going through an exciting period of growth. This long-standing client of ours is looking for a dynamic and driven Manufacturing Manager to lead a site of 120 staff, reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

The Role:

As Manufacturing Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, fostering a culture of high performance, and supporting the business on its continued growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of 120+ operational staff across multiple departments.

  • Drive operational performance to meet key KPIs including safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations to align site strategy with wider business goals.

  • Lead and embed lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Manage budgets and resource planning effectively.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager or similar leadership role within food manufacturing.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage large teams.

  • Excellent understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for operational excellence.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
