Freelance Mechanical Site Manager / Supervisor – Lincoln (Education Project)

Duration: 10 months
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Lincoln
Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)

We are currently working with an established M&E contractor who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager/Supervisor to work on a high-profile education project based in Lincoln.

The role will involve overseeing all on site mechanical services installation, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities on site
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements
  • Attend progress meetings and liaise with the project and design teams
  • Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to drawings and standards
  • Review RAMS, permits, and ensure site documentation is maintained
  • Support commissioning and handover processes

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Mechanical Site Manager or Supervisor on MEP projects
  • Experience within the education or public sector preferred
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC and building services systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • SSSTS/SMSTS and CSCS essential; First Aid preferred
