We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Lincolnshire to take responsibility for the smooth running of a busy food manufacturing site. This role covers the full scope of operations, including production, health & safety, engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality. You will play a key part in ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, to specification, and in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
Key Responsibilities-
Oversee daily site operations across production, despatch, workshops, and logistics.

Ensure high standards of health & safety across all site activities.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement to increase efficiency and profitability.

Lead production planning in line with commercial forecasts, balancing resources, people, and materials.

Manage site engineering and preventative maintenance programmes.

Deliver capital projects safely, within budget, and to agreed standards.

Maintain quality systems, audits, and promote a strong quality-first culture.

Oversee supply chain and logistics, including stock control, packaging, transport, and despatch.

Manage operational budgets, labour costs, and contribute to long-term investment planning.

Lead and develop operational teams, ensuring training and progression opportunities are in place.

Proven experience in an operations management role, ideally in food manufacturing, fresh produce, or FMCG.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and multiple functions.

Experience in health & safety, production planning, engineering, and supply chain.

Commercially aware with strong budget and cost management skills.
