Futures are supporting a global leader in their search of a Project Engineer. You will be joining a high performing engineering function supporting the delivery of complex, technically driven projects from concept through to manufacture. As Project Engineer you will be exposed across design, validation, manufacturing and customer engagement, making it ideal for a Project Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, project led environment.

You will act as the technical and organisational link between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.


Project Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver engineering projects from customer requirements through to implementation
  • Translate customer needs into clear technical specifications
  • Plan, manage and report against project timelines, cost and quality targets
  • Coordinate design, validation and manufacturing activities across internal teams
  • Lead DFMEA activities and support robust product development
  • Act as the technical interface with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement through structured problem solving


Project Engineer - Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering engineering projects to time and budget
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and risk management
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Practical knowledge of engineering design and validation principles
  • Confident working with cross-functional teams and external customers
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
