About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in leading our medium-sized home. You will work with a full, established staff team, ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
Lead on audits to ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
Oversee staff development, including supervisions, appraisals, and mentoring.
Deliver and coordinate training to maintain high standards of care.
Conduct assessments for new and existing residents.
Support rota management and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Foster a positive culture that promotes dignity, choice, and independence.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
Step into the Manager’s role in their absence.
About You:
Proven experience in a senior care role.
NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations.
Organised, proactive, and flexible to meet the needs of the service.
