Interim Head of Property – 6 Month Contract£300 – £400 per day | 39 hours per week | Hybrid – LincolnWe’re looking for an experienced RICS-qualified Chartered Surveyor to take the lead on a high-value investment property portfolio for a large, complex organisation with a strong social purpose.This is a hands-on, senior role where you’ll provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and team leadership to maximise value, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency across a diverse mix of properties.What you’ll be doing:
  • Leading the strategic and operational management of a multi-site investment property portfolio.
  • Driving asset value through lease renewals, rent reviews, and re-gears.
  • Managing a team of Regional Property Managers, Surveyors, and support staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with landlord & tenant law, service charge code, MEES, Fire Safety Act 2022, and health & safety regulations.
  • Overseeing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting on portfolio performance.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external consultants on ratings, valuations, and capital projects.
What you’ll bring:
  • MRICS or FRICS qualification (essential).
  • Significant experience in commercial property management within a large, complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Landlord & Tenant law, service charge administration, and property compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing property teams.
  • Financial acumen to manage multi-million-pound budgets.
  • A commercial, solutions-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Contract details:
  • Length: 6 months (potential to extend)
  • Rate: £300 – £400 per day (inside IR35)
  • Location: Hybrid –
