Based at HQ in Nettleham, this key administrative role supports the integrity and management of police information under MoPI (Management of Police Information) guidelines.You’ll interrogate systems and review files to ensure that data is accurately recorded, appropriately retained or disposed of, and that it complies with force policies and APP (Authorised Professional Practice) standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Interrogate Centurion and Crimson databases, reviewing digital and paper files for MoPI compliance
  • Make reasoned, risk-based decisions on information retention and disposal
  • Maintain and update accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal departments to improve data quality and adherence to policy
  • Support the wider PSD team when needed
Essential Requirements:
  • GCSEs or equivalent, or relevant practical experience
  • Strong administrative background with excellent IT and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate, and report on complex information
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of MoPI and relevant data retention policies
  • Familiarity with Lincolnshire Police computer systems
