PA1/PA6 Grounds Maintenance Operatives & Supervisor
Temp to Perm
V-Recruit are currently looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives and Grounds Maintenance Supervisors/Team Leaders with PA1 & PA6 Spraying licences to start work in the Skellingthorpe area of Lincolnshire as soon as possible.
Our client are a leading Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance contractor who specialist in commercial and environmental projects, and are recruiting for temp to perm operatives, along with Team Leaders to join their teams as soon as possible.
Duties to include:
- General maintenance and horticultural landscaping duties, including the interpretation of plans and drawings.
- Tree, shrub, and bedding plant planting
- Turfing and grass seed sowing, turf care and mechanical operations
- Hedge cutting and skilled shrub pruning
- Chemical control spraying, under direction
- To assist in the maintenance of essential equipment and depot areas where required
Job specifics:
- These are temp-perm roles, with the first 12 weeks through V-Recruit, acting as a trial/probationary period
- Grounds Maintenance Operatives: 14.10 per hour
- Grounds Maintenance Supervisors: Negotiable rate
- 40-45 hours per week
Candidate Qualifications/Skills
- Candidates must have a full UK driving licence
- PA1/PA6 is required for these roles
- CSCS Card is desirable
- The successful candidates will have substantial, recent grounds maintenance experience, and be competent and knowledgeable in all of the above-mentioned duties and tasks.
- Candidates will ideally have experience in using a wide range of horticultural machinery, including operation/driving of plant machinery
