Responsibilities:
As a Sheet Metal Worker you will be part of our small team who are responsible for fabrication of Haynes and Nymonic 75 components installed on to small gas turbines. You will be required to deliver fabrication of these components with access to onsite jigs and carry out seam welding.

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To be a successful candidate, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of metal properties and fabrication techniques
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Certification in sheet metal working or a related field
  • Experience with CNC machines and automated processes
  • Familiarity with safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced production setting

  • Hand tools (snips, shears, hammers, etc.)
  • Welding equipment
  • CNC machinery
  • Measuring tools (callipers, micrometres)
  • Computer software for design and planning
