Your Role as Nurse Manager:
As the Nurse Manager, you will be the clinical and operational lead for the home, guiding the team with a hands-on approach, ensuring residents receive the highest level of person-centred care, and maintaining the positive culture that the home is so well known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
  • Ensure clinical excellence and compliance with all regulatory and legislative frameworks, including CQC standards.
  • Manage staffing, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled workforce.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families, GPs, and external professionals to develop individualised care plans.
  • Oversee audits, care documentation, and medication systems to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support the Registered Manager and contribute to the strategic direction of the home.
  • Monitor and manage budgets responsibly, ensuring both quality care and cost efficiency.


We’re looking for a confident, committed professional with proven leadership capabilities and a strong clinical background.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role within an elderly care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of dementia care, nursing best practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • A caring, empathetic approach and a genuine desire to make a difference.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
