Are you passionate about supporting autistic students and helping them thrive in their academic journey? Randstad Student Support is seeking a skilled and compassionate Study Skills Tutor to work with autistic students at the University of Lincoln. This part-time, hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both on-campus and online, tailoring support to meet individual student needs. Are you ready to make a real difference?

Qualifications

This specialist role requires a strong academic background and relevant training in supporting autistic adults. To meet the requirements of the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), candidates must:

  • Hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree (Level 6).
  • Possess a teaching qualification.
  • Have completed extensive training in adult autism, such as:
    • 6 National Autistic Society Modules (non-medical helper package), or
    • The Optimum Training Course: Autism and ADHD in Higher Education: Recognising and addressing the barriers through Non-Medical Helper (NMH) Mentoring and Study Skills Strategies.
