Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Project Manager on behalf of Siemens Energy.The Supply Chain Project manager represents Procurement in the Project Management Team as Sub-project Manager Procurement. Integrates Procurement in the project management process and project teams at an early involvement during the sales phase. Implements Procurement/Sourcing strategies targeting maximum contribution to the operating result under consideration of product/service availability and quality.Responsibilities:

  • Finds the best solution and suppliers for the respective demand, considering project needs and commodity strategies to ensure a long-term, cost-efficient supply of material

  • Handles, controls, and monitors all Procurement and if required, Purchasing activities in a project under optimum deployment of resources

  • Contributes to the implementation and ensures usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and compliance

  • Ensures observance of obligatory Procurement processes and regulations

  • Prepares and conducts commodity kick-off, negotiation strategy with a focus on ToCo, CTG and CNI; presents it in the negotiation review and documents results

  • Ensures early involvement and close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care

  • Develops a local commodity strategy aligned with Global commodity experts, and develops key relationships with Suppliers for allocated Commodity; acts as an knowledge expert for the local team

Key Skills / Experience Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement functions, contract management, project procurement, proposal and/or project management
  • Representing procurement in an international team towards suppliers, project management, RU's and other cross-functions
  • Ability to qualify and evaluate suppliers, classifications, development measures, create contract entries, lead or support negotiations, create RFX and eAuctions
  • Expertise in SAP handling
  • Experience in Contract Negotiations/Claim Management is required to handle and optimize procurement processes
  • Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies by applying commodity strategies and adaption to the project specific requirements
  • Functional leadership of the project procurement team within tender and execution projects
  • Experience in international project business
