Gi Group are seeking operatives to work for our client based in New Holland (DN19)Our client has a drive for service and people, setting high standards in the quality of product and the overall operations process, supplying market-leading multi-product solutions including structural timber and bespoke milling services. Pay rate - £12.81 per hour Hours of work - 0600-1400hrs / 1400-2200hrs Monday to Friday, regular overtime available Contract type- temporary to permanent for the right candidate. ** Own transport will be required due to location **Duties include* Working under instruction from Machinist/Shift Supervisor* Assisting in day-to-day operations * Ticketing and processing orders* Skidding and stacking of packs* Daily housekeeping duties* Operating in-house machinery, including the shrink wrap machine* General reporting of any maintenance and quality issues * Carry all work out in-line with to current risk assessment and S.O.P * Any further duties required. The successful candidate will have* Experience within a similar production environment is desirable* Forklift or counter balance license is desirable * Basic Numeracy and English Qualifications* In house machine knowledge provided on the jobPersonal attributes * A confident, enthusiastic, approachable and motivated person. * Energetic and flexible team member. * Has a proactive and 'can do' attitude. * Sense of responsibility. * Ability to build good working relationships If you are interested in this role then please submit your CV or call 01724 875.600 to arrange registration.
