They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to assist in day-to-day maintenance of manufacturing equipment and CNC machinery

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Technician will will also play a key role in our PPM program and continuous improvement.

This will also include:

  • Carrying out scheduled PPM and asset care checks are carried out
  • Support with any emergency / unplanned issues and repairs
  • Fault diagnosis
  • Work effectively with the Production team to support overall productivity
  • Inspection of machinery, engineering plant and site services
  • Maintain any necessary (and all) paperwork records for machine issues
  • Participate in, and recommend any training
  • Lead by example with Health & Safety

The Candidate

The Maintenance Technician appointed to this role will be an apprenticeship trained or time-served Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineer, with at least 4years post-qualification experience gained within a manufacturing environment.

Being able to understand electrical / pneumatic drawings / the 17/18th Edition Electrical qualification as well as qualifications in Health & Safety are desirable

You will be a strong and effective communicator with an organised approach to your work. A good communicator and a ‘can do’ attitude.
