Core Duties:
  • Onboarding clients across various cloud-based finance platforms
  • Handling transaction entries, conducting account reconciliations, and compiling trial balances for end-of-year processes
  • Drawing financial data for use in internal and management-level reporting
  • Delivering ongoing client assistance, ensuring seamless integration with digital accounting systems
  • Overseeing VAT enrolments and gathering necessary documentation for VAT filings and quarterly reporting
  • Assisting with essential administrative functions in the office
Your Profile:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably from a practice background
  • Skilled in preparing accounts up to the trial balance phase
  • Proficient in software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Strong spoken communication skills – you’ll feel at ease guiding clients over the phone
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and respond proactively to challenges
  • A full UK driving licence is necessary due to the role’s location requirements
