Junior Sous Chef

Great opportunity for a talented and ambitious junior sous chef to join this outstanding national company who are leaders in there field. As junior sous chef you will report directly into the sous and head chef with an overall team of 5 chefs. The junior sous chef should be personable and able to build relationships easily . A background of banqueting and private sit down dinners will be an advantage as well as canopy parties ,breakfast service and room service to the guests requirements. As will having some experience of A la carte, bistro, summer BBQs and ad hoc events . The junior sous chef should pride on presentations and flavors as well as offering fresh local sourced ingredients and be creative & engaging. The successful junior sous chef will need to have an excellent TEAM work ethic relationship with colleagues. All other duties will help you to develop in areas you may be unfamiliar with , such as costings, wastage, management , haccap and all other health and safety. The junior sous chef will also be happy to help the pastry chef as and when requiured .
