We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school based in Lingfield, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students reach their full potential by providing tailored support and encouragement. Whether you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or looking to build a career in special education, this role offers a rewarding and fulfilling pathway.

Key responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting students with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties
  • Assisting teachers in delivering tailored lessons and classroom activities
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all learners
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support where needed
  • Promoting independence and emotional well-being

Requirements:

  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Don't have one? No problem - we can help you apply for it!)
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
