Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Service Desk Administrator for our client based in West Lothian.


Role Overview:
This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a motivated and organised administrator to join a busy service desk team. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team responsible for customer support, scheduling works, and delivering all aspects of contract administration while meeting key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and scheduling reactive maintenance works.
  • Programming and co-ordinating workloads for engineers.
  • Logging client calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Managing service desk enquiries and ensuring prompt action is taken.
  • Raising permits and issuing RAMS as required.
  • Processing job sheets and maintaining accurate records.
  • Raising purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Liaising with subcontractors to coordinate work schedules.
  • Updating internal systems and databases.
  • Working to tight KPIs and producing regular reports.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Administration and Customer Service
  • Previous experience in a Helpdesk, Service or Contract Administration would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident in using IT systems and software.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
