Maintenance Engineer on Days Monday to Friday with our client who manufacture building materials across UK & Ireland

Competitive salary package for day shift

Providing maintenance support for the plant you will help ensure production runs smoothly, equipment is maintained to a high standard and downtime is minimal

Suitable candidates will need to be Level 3 time served Mechanical/ Electrical with maintenance experience on production equipment in a manufacturing setting

The Role

  • Preventative and reactive maintenance on plant production equipment
  • Fault finding and troubleshoot problems, carry out repairs quickly
  • Work closely with production teams to enhance reliability, safety and equipment OEE
  • Welding and Fabrication work
  • Mechanical fitting, installation, refurb and improvements on machinery
  • Routine inspections on equipment
  • Ensure all plant equipment is operationally safe
  • Record maintenance activities and document key info for health, safety, environmental and quality
  • Work in line with Health & Safety

What we are looking for

  • Level 3 apprenticeship Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Experience with welding and fabrication
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Working knowledge of PLC control systems
