Futures are looking to appoint a  Production Team Leader in a fast-paced manufacturing business to play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The successful Production Team leader will be very present on the shop floor and be able to implement lean strategies.

Our client is a market leading manufacturer going through a period of sustained growth in a very robust industry.

Responsibilities:

Team Supervision:

  • • Lead and manage a team of semi skilled and skilled operators.
  • • Assign tasks and monitor daily production schedules.
  • • Motivate and engage team members to meet targets.
  • • Ensure production goals and deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance.
  • • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • • Oversee product inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • • Address and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  • • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve production bottlenecks or disruptions.
  • • Analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • • Act as a liaison between management and production staff.
  • • Provide regular updates on production progress and challenges.
  • • Ensure clear communication of company policies and procedures.
  • • Promote a culture of safety and enforce workplace safety policies.
  • • Ensure compliance with manufacturing regulations and environmental standards.
