We are looking for a dedicated Suspensions Administrator to join our school administration team. This role is essential for managing the administrative processes related to student suspensions and ensuring compliance with local educational standards and regulations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and input data related to student suspensions using the Arbor MIS System, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal frameworks.
  • Prepare and handle all necessary paperwork associated with suspensions, maintaining detailed records for future reference.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for communications with West Sussex County Council (WSCC) regarding suspension matters.
  • Collaborate with the pastoral and SEN teams to provide administrative support and ensure a cohesive approach to student management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism, upholding the school's standards and policies at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a school administration role, with specific experience managing suspension-related tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word.
  • Skilled in using the Arbor MIS System for educational administration.
  • Strong understanding of the administrative procedures associated with student suspensions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with local authorities and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a busy school environment.
